AGU Meeting in San Francisco, CA (http://ccee.sdsu.edu/cceemonthlynewsletter.php), Aug 2016 Christina Stewart participated in the Transatlantic Summer Academy on Sustainability (TSA for short), a 3 week program at Jacobs University in Bremen, Germany. The program consisted of lectures, workshops and excursions on topics in sustainability. The program focused an intercultural learning experience to encourage an exchange of discussion between U.S. and German students on sustainability within their own countries and lives. Excursions included a trip to a windmill farm in Bremen and a vessel that researches oceanic climate change. Her travel was fully funded by the Transatlantic Program of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany through the European Recovery Program (ERP) and the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi).
